A Level Results Day 2026
We are proud to celebrate another successful set of A Level and BTEC results, with students achieving excellent outcomes across academic, creative and vocational courses. 25% of all grades awarded were at A or A*, alongside strong results across the school’s broad Sixth Form curriculum.
Importantly, all students have secured places at the universities of their choice, reflecting both their academic achievements and the personalised support they received throughout their Sixth Form journey.
With a strong focus on ‘Individuality’, one of the school’s ASPIRE values, students are encouraged to understand their strengths, develop their interests and build a clear sense of the future they want to pursue – whether through university, specialist creative training, vocational study or entering the workplace.
Academic Achievement
Academic success was celebrated across a broad range of subjects, with 100% of students achieving A or A* grades in Geography and Latin. Creative subjects also produced excellent results, with 100% of Art and Textiles grades awarded at A, alongside 100% A* to B grades in Drama and Photography.
Students have also secured places on a wide range of highly regarded university courses, reflecting the breadth of academic interests and ambitions within the Sixth Form.
Kateryna has won a place to study Classics and the Ancient World at University College London, while Zoe will take up a place at Durham University to study Accounting and Finance.
Amelie will study Liberal Arts at the University of Warwick, and Violet will progress to King’s College London to study Physiotherapy.
Three students will continue their studies at the University of Kent. Kate will study Psychology, Isla will read Law, and Grace will read Criminology and Criminal Psychology.
For some students, achieving their goals has meant taking a pathway specifically designed around their individual talents and ambitions. Ashley achieved four As at A Level and will study Technical Arts for Theatre and Screen at University of the Arts London. Her bespoke timetable allowed her to dedicate an entire day each week to Art, Textiles and Photography, giving her the time and space to develop her skills and portfolio.
Issy’s subject choices alongside her hard work and commitment will see her study Global Sports Management at the University of Portsmouth, including a year abroad in Australia, while Ella chose subjects which have helped her to move directly into the world of work after securing a position as an Assistant Insurance Broker at a top global risk firm.
Vocational Success
We are equally proud of our vocational results, with 100% Dance BTEC, PE BTEC and Music BTEC students achieving Distinctions. 100% of Food and Nutrition Diploma results were awarded at Merit level. Elli has been offered a place at the University of Surrey to study Food Science and Nutrition because of this Diploma result.
Erin achieved a Distinction in Dance BTEC, alongside A Levels in Film and Drama and will progress to the Guildford School of Acting. Izzy achieved a Distinction in PE BTEC and will go on to study Hair and Make-up for TV Production at Netflix studios.
Building on this success, we will further expand our vocational offering from 2026 with new BTEC courses in Marketing, Criminology and Medical Science, giving students even greater choice to follow pathways aligned with their individual interests and career aspirations.
Helping Every Student Find Their Path
Miss Katrina Handford, Head, commented: “I am incredibly proud of what our students have achieved this year. Their results reflect their hard work and commitment, but also the importance of giving young people the confidence and support to find the pathway that is right for them.
“At Kent College, we want every student to leave us knowing who they are, understanding their strengths and having a clear sense of where they want to go next. Whether that is through a traditional academic route, a creative pathway, vocational study or directly into the world of work, what matters is that it is the right fit for them.”
Mrs Sally Gillings, Head of Sixth Form, said: “I am immensely proud of this year’s students. They have shown tremendous commitment, resilience, and determination throughout their Sixth Form journey. What makes these results particularly special is the breadth of pathways our students are now taking, with each able to build a future around their own strengths and ambitions.”
We warmly congratulate all our Sixth Form students on their results and wish them every success in their next steps.
