We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, ambitious and motivated individual, with a passion for inspiring students in A-Level Psychology and Sociology. The ability to teach a third subject, especially Criminology, would be an advantage.

There are close links between our Sociology and Psychology departments, both of which are popular and enjoy high levels of success in the school. Teachers at Kent College are well supported with access to a rich variety of teaching materials, including good ICT resources and a library well stocked with subject-specific works.

Music is something we pride ourselves on at Kent College, with the standard of performance exceptional. We wish to engage an inspirational and well-qualified Singing teacher on a self-employed basis. Experience preparing students for Associated Board examinations would be advantageous as would accompanying skills.

Approx. 5 x 30mins lessons a week (1 day per week), term time in the first instance; this may increase during the academic year.

The department comprises the Director of Performing Arts and 2 Music Teachers who teach KS1-3, GCSE and A-level students. There is also an administrator to help with timetabling etc. There are currently 11 peripatetic music teachers (instrumental and singing), some of whom are common to both the Preparatory and Senior Schools. The music department is housed in a purpose-built facility, with 11 rooms.

There is a wide range of choirs and orchestras, including: Senior Choir, Lower School Choirs, Two Chamber Choirs, Orchestra, String Chamber groups, Wind Band as well as Prep school choirs and ensembles.

Kent College Gymnastics Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Part-Time Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team. 

We are seeking a reliable and energetic individual with a passion for gymnastics and athlete development. The role involves coaching our Friday after-school classes and Saturday daytime sessions, supporting gymnasts to develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the sport.
