Prep News Round Up

This week in the Prep School we celebrated Wellbeing Week (also known as SHED Week), giving pupils the opportunity to focus on healthy habits for both body and mind.

The week began with energetic fitness sessions led by Mr George, followed by calming yoga with Mrs Stein, one of our Senior School teachers. Pupils also learned about the importance of a good night’s sleep during a special session with Judy Clark from Babywinkz, and explored healthy eating through nutrition and hydration workshops with Mrs Low. This last workshop reminded children about the benefits of healthy eating which fits beautifully with our PSHE theme this term - Healthy Me. Avoiding crisps, chocolate and sweets for their afternoon snack will reinforce their learning!

We ended the week with a wonderful Forest Wellbeing session led by Mrs Youdale, enjoyed by Year 5 and Reception pupils in the fresh air. With just two weeks remaining before the Easter holiday, excitement is also building for our much-anticipated “Anything Goes” performance. Tickets are selling quickly, so please be sure to secure yours soon to avoid disappointment.
