KC pupils are ambitious and encouraged to follow their natural talents and passions outside the classroom. They are able to broaden their horizons through the many and varied extra curricular and enrichment opportunities academically, in sport and in the arts. An exciting and diverse range of clubs, talks, visits and activities run throughout the year.

KC pupils are interested and present in the world. To create a balanced and well-rounded experience we have an impressive range of clubs and activities in all areas of the curriculum.

Students can join bands, choirs, technical theatre, art, photography, politics and sign language clubs. We have sports clubs, STEM clubs including 3D design and robotics, Model United Nations, philosophy and ancient language clubs.

Before, during and after school there is something for everyone and if there isn't we will set a club up.

Duke of Edinburgh

We offer the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from Year 10 and students can undertake Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. Throughout the year training takes place and when girls are fully prepared, they embark on their qualifying expedition.

Pupils have the opportunity at all ages to take part in visits and residential trips, both in the UK and abroad. Some link directly to the curriculum, such as visits to the theatre, Art galleries and Geography field trips, whilst others such as a residential week have a broader educational remit.
