Saturday 22nd June 2013 from 9.30 to 5.00pm (exact time to be confirmed nearer the date) at Kent College Pembury.
Have you ever
watched the dramatic attempt of divers and the public to assist stranded seals,
dolphins and whales? Ever felt that you would love to help if only you knew
how?
This course will give you background knowledge and experience to help you
assist if you are asked to help. When you are an adult you can take a further
step and become a fully qualified marine medic by taking the full adult course
with the British Marine Divers Live Rescue (BMDLR) group. Medics from this
association will be running the course. The course will cost £20 (to include lunch).
Please note that space will be limited and early booking is recommended. To book, please email Linda Jeal (Head of Eco & Sustainability) at jeall@kentcollege.kent.sch.uk or Gill Chadbon (ECA Manager) at chadbong@kentcollege.kent.sch.uk
