The Kent College Gymnastics Academy
The Kent College Gymnast Academy was set up in the Summer of 2009 and is a thriving Gymnastics Club for girls and boys.
Classes are open to KC and non KC pupils aged between 5 and 18 and are held on Saturdays from 9am with sessions lasting from between 45mins to 1 1/4 hour and 2 hour sessions in the Kent College Sports Hall. With over 100 children attending throughout the day. General Gymnastics classes range from 1 ¼ hour beginner and intermediate classes to more advanced 2-hour classes.
These classes cater for children who would like to try gymnastics and whereby they can develop co-ordination, strength, balance, stamina and flexibility eventually progressing onto various competitions.
All gymnast coaches are trained and qualified through the British Gymnast Association.
Acrobatic Gymnastics are developing strongly within the Academy. Acrobatics is an infusion of choreography and complex acrobatic skills performed in partnership on a standard gymnastics floor area. Balance, Tempo and Combined routines are performed to music.
We hope to welcome you soon!
